Deploy configuration changes from security devices page

This task allows you to deploy pending configuration changes to devices directly from the Security Devices page without navigating to the Deployments page.

You can deploy pending configuration changes to devices directly from the Security Devices page without opening the Deployments page.

Note

You can launch the deploy configuration changes modal from any page of the Security Cloud Control platform by clicking the deploy icon (Deploy icon.) from its menu bar.

Procedure

Step 1

To deploy pending configuration changes to a single device, perform these steps.

  1. Choose Security Devices.

  2. Click the Devices tab.

  3. Click the appropriate device type tab.

  4. Select a device that has a Not Synced status.

  5. Click Preview and Deploy… in the Not Synced section.

  6. In the Devices with Pending Changes dialog box, review the changes and click Deploy now to deploy the changes.

    You can copy the configuration changes either as YAML or JSON by clicking the copy icon.

Step 2

To deploy pending configuration changes to multiple devices, perform these steps.

  1. Choose Security Devices.

  2. Click the Devices tab.

  3. Click the appropriate device type tab.

  4. Select multiple devices of the same type that have Not Synced status.

  5. Click Deploy All in the Management section.

The pending configuration changes are deployed to the selected devices, and their status changes from "Not Synced" to synchronized.
